These terms are the agreement between you and Serena when you use our app and this website. Plain language first, legal second.

Your account

You need to be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login safe. Please don't share your account with anyone.

What Serena is, and isn't

Serena delivers evidence-based self-hypnosis sessions as a wellness product. It is not a medical device, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for medical advice. If you have a diagnosed mental health condition, eating disorder, or any other clinical concern, please talk to a qualified professional. We are here to support change, not to treat illness.

Subscriptions and payment

Some features require a subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew at the price shown at purchase, billed through Apple or Google. You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google according to their respective store policies. For unusual circumstances, contact us at hello@joinserena.com and we'll help where we can.

Intellectual property

All session audio, visual design, and written content is ours. You're welcome to listen on your devices. You're not permitted to record, redistribute, or use our content commercially without written permission.

Your responsibilities

• Don't listen to sessions while driving or operating machinery.
• Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the service.
• Treat our support team the way you'd like to be treated.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties and disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we'll notify you in-app and by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
