Serena is built around a simple premise: your mind is yours, and so is the data about it. We collect the minimum we need to deliver your sessions, and we don't sell what we learn about you. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Account data. Your email address and, if you sign up through Apple or Google, the display name associated with your account.

Onboarding answers. Your responses to the questions that tailor your 21-night path. These stay associated with your account so we can personalise future sessions.

Listening history. Which sessions you played and when, used to pace your path and surface the next one.

Technical data. Device type, OS version, app version, crash logs, the minimum needed to keep the app working on your phone.

What we don't collect

We don't collect body weight, body measurements, photos, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or behavioural data for ad targeting. We don't use third-party analytics SDKs that profile you across other apps.

How we use what we collect

  • Deliver your nightly sessions and track progress on your 21-night path.
  • Respond to messages you send us through the contact form.
  • Keep the app secure and functional.

Who we share it with

Only the processors we need to actually run the service: our hosting provider, our email provider for transactional messages, and Apple or Google for in-app purchases. Each is contractually bound to use your data only for these purposes.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, use our Account deletion form. We honour requests within seven days.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove personal data within seven days. Aggregate, non-identifying usage data may be kept longer to improve the service.
